Seamus O'Neill (Fisher Stevens) is an ordinary man, factory worker, who one day hits the big money and becomes rich. To fulfill his biggest dream, being a writer, O'Neill moves to the little town of Key West, where he might get the inspiration for his creativity. Key West rolls the new everyday life of O'Neill, from the very moment of the winning. With him, there are Abednigo "JoJo" Nabuli (T.C. Carson), the weird immigrant, Paul "Gumbo" Beausoleil (Leland Crooke), the owner of the exotic bar (and an alligator), Mayor Chaucy Caldwell (Denise Crosby), the Rebulican, and a lot more stereotypical figures from this little town, that colorize O'Neill's life.
