Forrest Bedford is a
Southern lawyer in the late 1950s, generally content with his
privileged life. But the winds of change are blowing, and he
becomes increasingly involved with civil rights cases. Mean-
while, Lilly Harper, who cares for his children, is on her own
journey of political and personal awareness.

Full Screen in English, no subtitles, no commercials.
There are three eps towards the end of the
series where the quality is only 6-6.5, as they have some large
static blips. These were taken from vhs so they are a little
grainy, but still very watchable. As with all of our sets these
have full title and chapter menus. All but a few of the last eps
are taken from PBS. Some eps have a short msg at the bottom
regarding encore episodes, it last only for a few seconds.
